Braunschweig - Paderborn

The Useless information Stolen from various websites
The spoils to be shared in Braunschweig

TEAM NEWS
Braunschweig’s personnel situation remains very much the same as last weekend, with Marcel Correia, Steffen Bohl and Matthias Henn all absent with various ailments.
Benjamin Kessel, who hasn’t featured in 2012 for Eintracht, is close to completing his rehabilitation process after tearing a thigh muscle, but is still at least a week away from making his comeback.
For Paderborn, Enis Alushi returns from a one-match suspension, but is one yellow card away from picking up a similar ban. Chris Strohdiek did exactly that against Duisburg and will therefore replace Alushi on the suspended list for this weekend’s fixture.
Soren Gonther and Jens Wissing are no closer to making their returns.
Braunschweig:
Suspended: None
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Correia (groin - unknown), Bohl (cruciate tear - unknown), Henn (cruciate tear - rest of season), Kessel (thigh)
Paderborn:
Suspended: Strohdiek (one match)
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Gonther (cruciate ligament - rest of the season), Wissing (Achilles)

MATCH PREVIEW
Braunschweig threw away a one-goal lead against title-chasing Dusseldorf last week, but still managed to hold on for a point on foreign soil. It was a gutsy showing from Eintracht, who, come what may, will be pleased with their overall performance upon their return to the 2. Bundesliga.
Torsten Lieberknecht's troops haven’t lost at home since late November, conceding just three goals, and will be cautiously optimistic of upsetting another ailing promotion hopeful on Friday.
Back-to-back losses have thrown a spanner in the works of Paderborn’s pursuit of top-flight football, but they are still only three points off a spot in the top three.
Although SCP clawed their way back to equalise against Duisburg last weekend, a rare display of defensive complacency meant they walked away empty-handed at the final whistle. Roger Schmidt’s side have been impressive on their travels this term, but have lost two of their last three on the road.
With Paderborn going through a rough patch, I’d fancy Braunschweig to grind out a result on Friday. Eintracht have nothing to lose, but I think a draw is the most realistic outcome for this encounter.
HEAD TO HEAD
In five previous meetings between these two sides in the 2. Bundesliga, Paderborn have won two to Braunschweig's one, but interestingly the respective away side has never scored

The Prediction : Paderborn W/D

Andy MurrayRafael Nadal

The Really Useless info Stolen from Various sites

Former World No.1 Rafael Nadal takes on Scot Andy Murray for a place in the finals of the 2012 Sony Ericsson Open, season's second masters series event being played here in Miami, Florida.

10 time major champion Rafael Nadal opened the season on a great note and reached his second final at the Australian Open, eventually finishing runner up to defending champion Novak Djokovic. This was Nadal's seventh consecutive final loss to Djokovic. Nadal, who has a record 19 masters series titles to his resume, last won an event in the same category in April 2011 at the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters. In the previous rounds here, Nadal looked unchallenged till the quarterfinals when he faced his toughest opponent in Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, whom he beat in three closely contested sets.

"Playing Andy is a pleasure for me, and exciting playing against a player like him (who) pushes you (to) the limit on everything. The negative thing is I have to recover well," Nadal commented.

Scot Andy Murray has a stellar masters series resume with as many as 8 titles, all on hardcourts. He is undoubtedly one of the finest hardcourt players of his generation. This year, Murray claimed a title in Brisbane before falling to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open semifinals. Murray's run in Indian Wells came to an abrupt end when he lost his match to Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. However, he made up for the loss of fame with some impressive wins over in-form players like Milos Raonic and Janko Tipsarevic to set up the semifinal clash with Nadal.

"I've always enjoyed playing Rafa on hard courts," Murray said. "He's very tough for everybody. He's played well here the last couple of years. It's a good court for him, good conditions."

Both players have competed 18 matches already and the head-to-head stands 13-5 in favour of Nadal. Interestingly, it was Murray who won the pair's last meeting in Tokyo, bageling the Spaniard in the final set to re-affirm his strong presence in the elite 4 of men's tennis.

Murray is playing great tennis and has every shot in his armour to outrun Nadal in rallies. A lot will depend on how thesee men serve in the semifinal. Nadal definitely has an upper hand with the dominant lead in the head-to-head, but it's Murray, who is likely to emerge victorious in this contest.

Nashville Preditors vs Detroit Red Wings

More Stolen info Gathered to confuse you

Friday night's game between the fourth seeded Detroit Red Wings and their fellow mid-seeded Division rivals the Nashville Predators could be a playoff preview with the St. Louis Blues running away with the Central.

Detroit may have the upper hand with all of the players they've been getting back from injury lately. Nicklas Lidstrom and Pavel Datsyuk among others returned for the home and home against the Columbus Blue Jackets that Detroit split. Being at home should also be a boost to Detroit, who have been absolutely terrible away from the Joe recently.

Jimmy Howard Injury: Red Wings Goalie Will Start Friday Against Nashville

Ty Conklin has started four straight games for the Detroit Red Wings, and he's been up and down in those appearances. Fortunately for Detroit, their biggest injured name appears to be ready to return, goaltender Jimmy Howard. The Red Wings themselves on twitter confirmed that Howard will be between the pipes against the Nashville Predators on Friday.

Howard sat out most of February with a finger injury as well as a large chunk of March with a groin injury. His missed time in March -- alongside a bunch of other injured players -- has not been kind to the Wings, plenty of losses in March have marred their schedule. With all of their injured players returning including Howard, their fortunes should improve with the playoffs right around the corner.

Synopsis : as much as I hate the term Lock, this game adds up to nothing less with Howards return and The Red wings being home.
Pick : Detroit Red Wings

Racing Santander - Sevilla

The Really Useless Information
Racing Santander is having really difficult season and they will need to improve their game a lot, plus to have some luck in order to avoid relegation this spring. They are currently four points below Villarreal, which is  a first team on a safe position, but they also have one game in hand and this is big opportunity for the hosts to come closer to the safe zone. Hosts have three losses in a row, but they also tend to play much better at home and they know that key to their success (which means staying in Primera) will be home games for them. Although they didn’t win in quite while, they had some pretty nice performances at home as they drew against Atletico Madrid and Valencia, teams from upper part of the table. Goalkeeper Tono picked up a calf injury and will be unavailable for this game, while Francis and Marcos Gullon are both suspended.
Sevilla is generally in rather poor form this season and it looks like any kind of European dream is finished for them. The fans are more than unhappy, which they clearly showed last weekend as Sevilla ran into second loss in a row, losing to Barcelona 0:2 at home, previous to that game they have lost against Gijon on the road with a narrow 0:1 result. Match against Barcelona was also second successive without scoring a goal for team from Seville, as they also didn’t win in last three matches. They have been doing rather poor on the road as they have only 2-6-5 record, scoring only eight goals in thirteen matches away from their fans. Visitors will be without injured Emir Spahic for this clash, while Coke return after suspension.
Rayo didn’t lose against Sevilla in last three matches and it is really hard to see out of form guests getting away with all three points here as Rayo is simply much more motivated in front of their fans for tonight’s game.

Synopsis : Both of these teams are bad but withe Racings Suspensions and Sevilla being a the better of the 2 just barely I have to go with Sevilla.

Prediction: Sevilla to win

Malaga     vs    Rayo  Vallecano

The Useless Information Stolen From ESPNStar

Malaga will go into their game against Rayo Vallecano full of confidence following their draw with Real Madrid at the weekend.

However, Martin Demichelis is determined that will not spill over into complacency.
Real's 11-match winning run in the league was brought to an end by the 1-1 draw on Sunday, which kept Malaga right in contention for a Champions League spot.
Demichelis told a press conference: "The point that we gained from this match not only helped us with regards to numbers but has also increased our morale.
"We had clear chances at goal in the first half, but besides the result, it was very important to us that we were able to pose a threat to Madrid in the Bernabeu, where only Barcelona have been victorious.
"However, despite our performance in that match, on Thursday we're facing Rayo, a team just three points from Europe.
"We're progressing well, but cannot get complacent and believe we've already won the match against Rayo because we're at home. It'll be a difficult, tight match until the end, we'll need to be patient and play well for the 90 minutes."
Demichelis is likely to continue in midfield in place of the injured Jeremy Toulalan, while defender Weligton is a doubt after suffering a knock to his knee against Real.
Rayo go into the match four points behind Malaga following Saturday's 3-0 victory over Real Betis.
Mikel Labaka looks set to be fit but captain Michel is still recovering from a dislocated shoulder.

Man City      vs    Chelsea

The Useless Information

Roberto Mancini is set to welcome back Carlos Tevez for his first appearance since the now infamous fallout-out between the pair during a Champions League group match against Bayern Munich in September.
The Manchester City striker has spent most of the intervening period back in South America but a series of low-key reserve appearances ensures he is match-fit for tonight's clash
Synopsis : The fact that Tevez comes back at Home is the game changer, Chelsea is a good team but in Man City's last 5 home games they were all wins without Tevez. Chelsea's Last 5 Road games are LLDDW and the win being against Birmingham City not exactly a stellar opponent

7:30 PM ET
Series (Game 3 of 4)

Devils

(41-27-5, 87 pts)

Senators

(37-26-10, 84 pts

The Useless Information
Per CBC's Dan Seguin, Ben Bishop will be starting in net for the Senators. The good news about all of this-Craig Anderson, who always seems to have great games against the Devils, won't be starting. From what Ken Warren of Senators Extra has to say about Anderson's injury, it seems the earliest the Sens will let Anderson play is Thursday. Rich Chere confirmed that Johan Hedberg will be in net for the Devils yesterday afternoon, which makes sense seeing as Brodeur started last night.

If there's anyone who deserves to be benched after last night's performance, it has to be Eric Boulton. He continues to prove that he will never contribute anything positive to the Devils in a Devils uniform. Ever. Unfortunately, the Sens have a few pugilists themselves in Zenon Konopka, frequent healthy scratch Matt Carkner and to a lesser extent, Chris Neil. Boulton's services won't be necessary tonight- Janssen should be enough beef against the Senators.

Another thing I'd like to bring up is that both teams suffered losses to their arch enemies in their last game, and clearly want to bounce back from a tough loss. The Devils more or less shot themselves in the foot trying to playRangers goon-hockey and trying to beat them physically, instead of using their superior skill to beat them. The Senators basically squandered every chance they had against a vastly inferior opponent (seriously, the same team they lost to let Brian Rolston and Benoit Pouliot run all over them) and lost. Both teams are neck and neck in the standings. This will be a close game. While I don't like using cliched phrases, one team is going to want those points more. The Senators have extra incentive as they're still 3 points back of the Bruins for top spot in the Northeast (and the second seed). The Devils would like to try and catch the Flyers or Penguins, but are 5 points back and don't have games in hand.

Assuming the Devils keep the hi-jinx to a minimum, they should be able to match up favourably with the Senators. Both teams are skill teams and hopefully, the Devils show that they're the more skilled team tonight. With all that being said, what do you think about the Devils chances against the Sens? Do you think that they can rebound tonight and beat the Sens? Thanks for reading
Synopsis : I think with Anderson Being hurt for the Senators, this comes Down To the Devils with HedBurg who is every bit as good as Brodeur actually has a More Shutouts (3) than Brodeur (2) in less games he is the differencemaker
Prediction : Devils Win

Buffalo Sabres @ Tampa Bay Lightning
Although the Sabres have not scored a point against The lightning there are some factors to this game Garon is out in nets for Tampa and the Sabres have been on a roll while Tampa is on a slide. The Sabres have scored at least a point in the last 4 games while Tampa has lost 4 out of the last 5 home games. Buffalo is going to be pissed about Losing 3-2 to Florida in a shootout.

Genoa @ AS Roma
The Italy Serie A football match between AS Roma (6th) and Genoa (9th) kicks off on 19 March 2012.
AS Roma has played 19 Italy Serie A matches this season on Stadio Olimpico. On home ground AS Roma has won 11, drawn 5 and lost 3 matches. This ranks the Giallorossi 5th in home team performance in the Italy Serie A.
Genoa has played 19 Italy Serie A matches this season away from home. On away ground Genoa has won 4, drawn 6 and lost 9 matches. This ranks the Grifoni 11th in away team performance in the Italy Serie A.

Roma captain Francesco Totti has been left out of coach Luis Enrique's 19-man squad for Monday's Serie A clash with Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico.

The 35-year-old attacker's availability for the contest had been in doubt since he missed Wednesday's training session because of a niggling thigh problem.

Daniele De Rossi had also been in doubt for the match, but the 28-year-old has fully recovered from a heel problem and is in line to start in the centre of the park.

Marco Cassetti and Miralem Pjanic have not made Luis Enrique's squad for the match either because of injury.
I Still Think that Roma is the better team but with Totti out their side loses something.

Prediction: Genoa Win, Draw Loses By 1

Score: Roma 2 Genoa 1
