Braunschweig - Paderborn
The Useless information Stolen from various websites
The spoils to be shared in Braunschweig
TEAM NEWS
Braunschweig’s personnel situation remains very much the same as last weekend, with Marcel Correia, Steffen Bohl and Matthias Henn all absent with various ailments.
Benjamin Kessel, who hasn’t featured in 2012 for Eintracht, is close to completing his rehabilitation process after tearing a thigh muscle, but is still at least a week away from making his comeback.
For Paderborn, Enis Alushi returns from a one-match suspension, but is one yellow card away from picking up a similar ban. Chris Strohdiek did exactly that against Duisburg and will therefore replace Alushi on the suspended list for this weekend’s fixture.
Soren Gonther and Jens Wissing are no closer to making their returns.
Braunschweig:
Suspended: None
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Correia (groin - unknown), Bohl (cruciate tear - unknown), Henn (cruciate tear - rest of season), Kessel (thigh)
Paderborn:
Suspended: Strohdiek (one match)
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Gonther (cruciate ligament - rest of the season), Wissing (Achilles)
MATCH PREVIEW
Braunschweig threw away a one-goal lead against title-chasing Dusseldorf last week, but still managed to hold on for a point on foreign soil. It was a gutsy showing from Eintracht, who, come what may, will be pleased with their overall performance upon their return to the 2. Bundesliga.
Torsten Lieberknecht's troops haven’t lost at home since late November, conceding just three goals, and will be cautiously optimistic of upsetting another ailing promotion hopeful on Friday.
Back-to-back losses have thrown a spanner in the works of Paderborn’s pursuit of top-flight football, but they are still only three points off a spot in the top three.
Although SCP clawed their way back to equalise against Duisburg last weekend, a rare display of defensive complacency meant they walked away empty-handed at the final whistle. Roger Schmidt’s side have been impressive on their travels this term, but have lost two of their last three on the road.
With Paderborn going through a rough patch, I’d fancy Braunschweig to grind out a result on Friday. Eintracht have nothing to lose, but I think a draw is the most realistic outcome for this encounter.
HEAD TO HEAD
In five previous meetings between these two sides in the 2. Bundesliga, Paderborn have won two to Braunschweig's one, but interestingly the respective away side has never scored

Rafael Nadal defeats Andy Murray 2 -0

Former World No.1 Rafael Nadal takes on Scot Andy Murray for a place in the finals of the 2012 Sony Ericsson Open, season's second masters series event being played here in Miami, Florida.
10 time major champion Rafael Nadal opened the season on a great note and reached his second final at the Australian Open, eventually finishing runner up to defending champion Novak Djokovic. This was Nadal's seventh consecutive final loss to Djokovic. Nadal, who has a record 19 masters series titles to his resume, last won an event in the same category in April 2011 at the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters. In the previous rounds here, Nadal looked unchallenged till the quarterfinals when he faced his toughest opponent in Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, whom he beat in three closely contested sets.
"Playing Andy is a pleasure for me, and exciting playing against a player like him (who) pushes you (to) the limit on everything. The negative thing is I have to recover well," Nadal commented.
Scot Andy Murray has a stellar masters series resume with as many as 8 titles, all on hardcourts. He is undoubtedly one of the finest hardcourt players of his generation. This year, Murray claimed a title in Brisbane before falling to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open semifinals. Murray's run in Indian Wells came to an abrupt end when he lost his match to Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. However, he made up for the loss of fame with some impressive wins over in-form players like Milos Raonic and Janko Tipsarevic to set up the semifinal clash with Nadal.
"I've always enjoyed playing Rafa on hard courts," Murray said. "He's very tough for everybody. He's played well here the last couple of years. It's a good court for him, good conditions."
Both players have competed 18 matches already and the head-to-head stands 13-5 in favour of Nadal. Interestingly, it was Murray who won the pair's last meeting in Tokyo, bageling the Spaniard in the final set to re-affirm his strong presence in the elite 4 of men's tennis.
Murray is playing great tennis and has every shot in his armour to outrun Nadal in rallies. A lot will depend on how thesee men serve in the semifinal. Nadal definitely has an upper hand with the dominant lead in the head-to-head, but it's Murray, who is likely to emerge victorious in this contest.

Nashville Preditors vs Detroit Red Wings
More Stolen info Gathered to confuse you
Friday night's game between the fourth seeded Detroit Red Wings and their fellow mid-seeded Division rivals the Nashville Predators could be a playoff preview with the St. Louis Blues running away with the Central.
Detroit may have the upper hand with all of the players they've been getting back from injury lately. Nicklas Lidstrom and Pavel Datsyuk among others returned for the home and home against the Columbus Blue Jackets that Detroit split. Being at home should also be a boost to Detroit, who have been absolutely terrible away from the Joe recently.
Jimmy Howard Injury: Red Wings Goalie Will Start Friday Against Nashville
Ty Conklin has started four straight games for the Detroit Red Wings, and he's been up and down in those appearances. Fortunately for Detroit, their biggest injured name appears to be ready to return, goaltender Jimmy Howard. The Red Wings themselves on twitter confirmed that Howard will be between the pipes against the Nashville Predators on Friday.
Howard sat out most of February with a finger injury as well as a large chunk of March with a groin injury. His missed time in March -- alongside a bunch of other injured players -- has not been kind to the Wings, plenty of losses in March have marred their schedule. With all of their injured players returning including Howard, their fortunes should improve with the playoffs right around the corner.
Synopsis : as much as I hate the term Lock, this game adds up to nothing less with Howards return and The Red wings being home.
Pick : Detroit Red Wings
