Philadelphia 76ers versus Orlando Magic
The always unimportant information designed to confuse you
As Normal Stolen from all over the web
The 76ers will get a break in facing the Magic without superstar center Dwight Howard, who will miss his fifth consecutive game with a bulging disk in his back. The Magic clinched a playoff berth Sunday, but it came with a price as center Glen Davis suffered a sprained right knee.
Philadelphia 76ers (31-28): Philadelphia is kicking off a back-to-back-to-back in Orlando and plays six of its final seven games on the road. With Milwaukee looming 2½ games back, the 76ers cannot afford a performance similar to Friday’s home loss against injury-riddled New Jersey, a team they beat by 19 points three nights earlier. Shooting guard Jodie Meeks has done little to support coach Doug Collins’ decision to move him back into the starting lineup, scoring a combined 15 points in his last three games.
Orlando Magic (35-25): Davis’ injury could turn out to be devastating for Orlando. There is no timetable for the return of Howard, who will be re-evaluated in 10 days. A non-factor for much of the season, Davis has thrived since taking over for Howard in the post. In seven starts prior to Sunday, Davis recorded five double-doubles and averaged 18.7 points and 11.4 rebounds in that span. Daniel Orton, who had scored only six points all season, had 11 after replacing Davis on Sunday
1. Orlando has won five of the last six meetings, including two of three this season.
2. 76ers reserve Thaddeus Young has averaged 16.3 points and 6.6 rebounds in his last three games.
3. The Magic are tied with the Atlanta Hawks for fifth place in the East.
NBA BASKETBALL PREDICTION: 76ers 93, Magic 89
Am I going to pick? : Yes

Rangers-Senators Preview
The Senators captain is questionable to play in Monday's Game 3 in Canada's capital city. Ottawa will also be shorthanded after Matt Carkner received a one-game ban for continuously punching unwilling combatant Brian Boyle on Saturday.
New York Rangers : Boyle rebounded from his drubbing from Carkner and collected his fifth goal in six contests and defenseman Anton Stralman netted a power-play tally to snap a 29-game goal drought. After missing the playoffs in his first four seasons in the NHL, Stralman has collected two points in as many games of this series. New York, however, couldn't preserve the slim lead and lost when agitator Chris Neil scored the winning goal. Brandon Dubinsky earned an early ejection after he came to the aid of Boyle.
Ottawa Senators : Although Nick Foligno deemed that Alfredsson was "in good spirits" Sunday, coach Paul MacLean is taking the wait-and-see approach for the veteran's availability for Game 3. "We haven’t made any final decisions, because we’re going to wait and see what Alfie says (on Monday)," MacLean said following an optional team practice. "He was feeling good today. He’ll be further evaluated and we’ll see what he’s like (on Monday)." While Henrik Lundqvist received most of the publicity heading into the series, Craig Anderson improved to 7-1 in his career at Madison Square Garden. Anderson turned aside 27 shots in Saturday's victory.
2. Although his appearance was brief, Carkner drew rave reviews from his teammates after sending a message to the Rangers. With stud defenseman Erik Karlsson on the receiving end of some punishment in Game 1, Carkner delivered plenty of his own as he received an instigator penalty, fighting major and game misconduct after he throttled Boyle.
Synopsis : Although Much has been said about Lundqvist Ottawa's goaltender Craig Anderson has been a huge surprise, but The Rangers prevail here
NHL PREDICTION: Rangers 3, Senators 2
Am I going to pick: No The 76ers is a better pick in my opinion.
